Job Overview
Position: Librarian
Location: Karachi (serving surrounding regions)
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction and Teaching: Teach students how to find, evaluate, and use information effectively, including how to spot reliable sources and navigate digital tools.
Teacher Collaboration: Partner with educators to co-teach lessons, build resource collections that align with the curriculum, and supply supplemental materials for class projects.
Collection Management: Select, organize, and maintain books, e-books, and digital databases to keep the library current and age-appropriate.
Reading Promotion: Foster a school-wide reading culture by hosting story times, book checkouts, and reading incentive programs.
Administration and Tech Support: Oversee daily library operations, manage budgets, and help troubleshoot educational technology or media equipment.
Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Library or a B.Ed/related field.
Experience: Relevant teaching experience is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication & interpersonal skills and a passion for student development.
